Governing Law and Contracts
The contracts that govern our relationship and are only subject to Texas law are the "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Agreement." We strongly recommend that you read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Discounted Labs' services, which include but are not limited to our websites, apps, APIs, and communications ("Services"), you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions ("Terms") and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use our Services. Please note that our blood tests are for informational purposes only.
No Medical Advice or Doctor-Patient Relationship
You understand that a blood test purchased through Discounted Labs does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or cure for any disease or condition. Lab test results may sometimes be inaccurate, through no fault of Discounted Labs. As an online service, we do not engage in a traditional doctor-patient relationship and do not provide CPT codes, ICD diagnosis codes, or other provider information for insurance claims.
Return and Refund Policy
Refund and Cancellation Fees
A $15 fee applies for all cancellations, irrespective of when the cancellation is made. Lab orders are valid for 180 days from the date you make the purchase.
Extending Order Validity
If you haven't used your lab order within 180 days, it will automatically expire. However, you can extend its validity for an additional 90 days by emailing us before the expiration date.
Eligibility for Refunds
To qualify for a refund, you must meet two conditions:
- You haven't had your blood drawn.
- The order is canceled within 180 days of the purchase date.
Cancellation Within 30 Days
If you cancel your order within the first 30 days from the purchase date, we'll refund the total lab order amount, minus the $15 cancellation processing fee.
Cancellation Between 30 and 180 Days
If you cancel your order between 30 and 180 days from the purchase date, you won't receive a cash refund. Instead, we will issue a credit for the purchase amount, minus the $15 handling fee. This credit can be applied to any future order you place within three months of the cancellation date.
Missing Lab Tests
If either DiscountedLabs or Quest omits a lab test in your lab requisition form or results, we will remedy this by providing you with a lab requisition form for the missing test, free of charge.
Lab Order Validity
Lab orders are valid for three months from the purchase date. You can request a one-time renewal within 6 months of purchase at no extra charge.
Medical Emergencies
IMPORTANT: Do not rely on electronic communication via our Services for urgent health issues. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.
Limitation of Liability
You agree that neither Discounted Labs nor any of our contractors will be liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising out of your use of our Services. The maximum liability for all claims will not exceed $100 in any calendar year.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Discounted Labs against all claims, demands, or suits arising out of your violation of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
Except for limited permission granted through these Terms, you may not use Discounted Labs' trademarks or service marks without prior written permission.
Disclaimer
Use of our Services is at your sole risk. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Jurisdiction and Legal Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. All actions arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in a court in Harris County, Texas.
Waiver of Jury Trial
By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial for any actions arising out of or relating to these Terms.
Miscellaneous Provisions
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding your use of our Services.
Payment Policies
Payment must be made at the time of service using American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

Disclaimer and Indemnification for Errors and Omissions
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Discounted Labs harmless for any act or omissions resulting from your negligence in following the terms of this agreement or in the treatment of patients.
Service Limitations
Service is not available in NY, NJ, AZ, and RI. We do not accept insurance or file insurance claims.
By accepting these terms for referral for testing and/or screening services, you certify that you have read this entire agreement and that you understand and agree to all its terms and conditions.
