Do I need an appointment for a blood test?
No. Most Quest Diagnostics locations accept walk-ins during business hours. Scheduling an appointment online is recommended to avoid wait times.
What should I bring to the lab?
Bring a valid photo ID and the lab requisition we email you after your order. If your test requires fasting, avoid food and drinks other than water for 8–12 hours before your visit.
How long does a blood draw take?
The draw itself takes about 5 minutes. Most visits, including check-in and paperwork, are done in 15 minutes or less.
Do I need a doctor's order for lab work?
No. A licensed physician reviews and approves all lab orders on your behalf — included with every test you order on DiscountedLabs.com. No separate doctor visit needed.
When will I get my results?
Most results are ready in 2–10 business days. Hormone panels using LC/MS may take slightly longer. You'll get a notification by email and SMS as soon as your results are available.
Are Quest Diagnostics labs open on weekends?
Hours vary by location. Many Quest labs offer Saturday hours. Check the location details after searching by ZIP code or browsing your city page for specific hours.
Can I use my insurance for lab tests?
Our tests are self-pay and do not require insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. This keeps pricing transparent and often lower than insurance copays for routine panels.
